BMW 501/8 Baroque angel in a fantastic restored condition. Bought in the summer of 1956 in Munich by a Finnish gentleman from Tornio. Has since been passed down to the son, then the grandson. Enormously well-restored car with fantastic hand-sewn upholstery of woven fabric. The car has been repainted in a slightly lighter red than its original color. The paintwork is seen as very well done, with no "orange paint" or any runoff. Underneath, the car looks like new. The original receipt from the purchase and other information comes with the car. Equipped with Becker Mexico radio with automatic channel search. The stereo comes with the original documentation. All the chrome on the car is in very good condition. Wheels and rims as well.

The car has chassis number 53714 and has a 2.6-liter V8 of approx. 100 hp.

A stunning BMW 501/8 that is ready to be enjoyed!

The last owner has had the car in his possession since 2021 and made a lot of improvements.

Since last winter, the car has been in storage at Automekano out on Ringön, who are recognized as good at these cars.

During the time it has been with automekano, the following has been done:

Fixed door lock

Fixed window lifts

Installed electronic ignition system

Change the battery

The car is fully roadworthy and starts immediately upon documentation.

According to the seller, the brakes need to be lubricated when the car has been stationary for a long time

Three ways to bid

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
